Job Role: To provide confidential and professional assistance to the Vice Chancellor's Office with a focus on effective management of schedules, internal and external communications. This is a senior post offering excellent development opportunities within adiverse environment.
Thejob responsibilities includes but isnot limited to the following:
- To manage all aspects of the Vice Chancellor's appointment, including the effective organization of travel, meetings, committees and events involving the Vice Chancellor and his team.
- To prepare, collate and distribute information relating to various Committees, working groups and meetings, including electronic coordination of agendas, accompanying papers, attending meetings and taking minutes and dissemination of outcomes and
- Provides administrative support and performs duties like scheduling, writing correspondence, emailing, handling visitors, routing callers, and answering questions and
- To provide other support to the Vice Chancellor's Office or senior staff as requested, for example, support at corporate events, arranging meetings, travel arrangements within Bangladesh and overseas, andproject administration.
- Toupdate theVice Chancellor of impending internal and external work
- Screen calls, enquiries andrequests, and dealwith themas appropriate
- To respond accurately and efficiently to all enquiries fromthe Vice Chancellor and his deputies, using own initiative and to liaise effectively with internal and external
- Maintain confidentiality of information, documents and other such material as required by the Vice Chancellor and his
- Appropriately execute any otherduties as directed by the Vice
Job Specification:
- Candidate shouldbe aMaster's Degree holder from areputed university.
- A minimum working experience of 7+ years working with top management staff preferably at University I UN organization/ Embassy.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Experience working in a high-velocity corporate work environment
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
- An advance level user of Microsoft Office applications (including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Experience of utilizing electronic databases, filing systems and planning tools, and experience of improving the effectiveness of electronic administrative systems
- Ability to exercise discretion, tact, diplomacy when dealing with confidential matters
- Able to work perfectly under strict deadlines and minimal
