Vice-Chancellor Professor Vincent Chang hosted a town hall meeting with students of the School of Law at the BRAC University auditorium on 3 November 2021. This was the first one of the series of department wise town hall meeting initiated by the Vice-Chancellor.
In line with the university’s student-centric motto, Vice-Chancellor Professor Vincent Chang is hosting the town hall meetings on a regular basis to hear the students directly and closely. Considering the Covid-19 situation, only a limited number of students were invited to this particular session. The event maintained social distancing and all safety measures.
Professor Chang appreciated the students for attending the meeting and sharing their views and suggestions. He also praised the students for showing perseverance and a positive attitude to continue the learning process. “On my watch, there is nothing as a stupid question. If you don’t ask questions, you’ll be in regret for the rest of your life,” said Professor Chang.
In a lively discussion, the students shared insights on various things from their current learning experience. They shared their views on course availability in each semester, how they manage classes and exams and also discussed a few other pressing matters. The Vice-Chancellor responded to all questions and remarks. He told the students that the university administration is always there to listen to the students and assured them that the university is determined to provide a continuously improving student-centric experience.
The students thanked the Vice-Chancellor for inviting them and giving them the opportunity to talk to him directly and express their views.
