Sang H. Lee has been named the new Dean of Brac Business School, effective January 1, 2020. Previously Sang led the business school for over five years as Dean at KIMEP, the first university to offer broad-based American-style education in Central Asia. Sang will lead efforts at Brac Business School for achieving accreditation by EFMD, one of the most influential agencies in the world. An expert on corporate finance and on mergers and acquisitions, Sang has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed finance journals, and has also spent a decade in industry, first as Senior Research Fellow at Korea Securities Research Institute, and subsequently as President and CEO of Rootiz Capital. Prior to that, Sang taught for five years in Louisiana, United States. A native of South Korea, Sang received his BA degree from Yonsei University in Seoul, followed by an MBA and a PhD in Financial Economics from the University of New Orleans.
