Abu Sadat Nurullah is a Lecturer in the School of General Education at BRAC University. He obtained his master’s in Sociology from the University of Alberta in Canada, where he later worked as an adjunct instructor in the Department of Sociology for five years. There he received the Graduate Student Teaching Award from the Faculty of Arts. His research interests include Youth and Social Media, Sociology of Work, Health and Wellbeing, Social Problems, Sociology of Religion, and Social Psychology. Trained as a sociologist and in quantitative methods, he has published more than 15 scholarly journal articles and has acted as a reviewer for various international journals. He has presented his academic papers at numerous local and international conferences in Canada, Iran, Italy, Malaysia, and the USA.
