Chathuri Weerasinghe holds a Master's in Development Studies from BracU and a bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences from the Asian University for Women (AUW), Bangladesh. Having obtained the highest distinction of her Master's cohort, she received the prestigious Vice Chancellor’s Gold Medal. Previously, Chathuri has worked in the Pathways for Promise programme at AUW and the Social Innovation Lab at BRAC. Her research interests span education for development, multidisciplinary liberal arts education models in Asian higher education contexts, and youth skills building in the developing world. She is passionate about increasing South Asian youth employability through digital literacy and digital inclusion, and multidisciplinary education.
