Sarah Salahuddin is currently an Assistant Professor of Economics at the Department of Economics and Social Sciences (ESS) where she has worked since 2009. Dr. Sarah has completed her PhD in Economics from the University of Malaya, Malaysia. Her research area broadly concentrates on Development Economics. She did her BSS in Economics and MS in Applied Economics (MSAE) from BRAC University. Sarah was the recipient of the Prestigious Khazanah Asia Scholarship by the Yayasan Khazanah Foundation, Malaysia. At ESS she teaches a range of courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Currently she is also the undergraduate course coordinator of the Economics program. Prior to joining BRAC University, Sarah has worked as a Research Associate at BRAC Research and Evaluation Centre (RED).
