I have had a wide range of interests throughout my life. I was an avid participant of olympiads in high school. I attended the National Math Camp in 2012, which was one of the most significant junctures of my life. I was hooked on math and problem-solving after that, and was one of the founding mentors of the Josephite Math Club at my high school. Later, I did my undergrad in EEE, during which I developed an interest in Theoretical Physics. During my undergrad, I participated in the IEEE Video and Image Processing Cup and IEEE Signal Processing Cup, for which I worked on Deep-Learning and Computer Vision. Finally, I did my undergraduate thesis on Quantum Computing, and have been focusing my efforts on this topic since then. At BRAC, I co-taught Bangladesh’s first academic Quantum Computing course (CSE490) and have also supervised a thesis on this topic. I also play the Tabla and performed in many cultural events at BUET. I like listening to Classical Music and building high-performance PCs. Throughout this journey, I have been battling crippling depression and anxiety, and, after suffering for 6 years since 2012, I finally started counselling and therapy in 2018. I hope to spread mental-health awareness among my students and close ones.
