One can also contact with the counselors over phone or find the Information Form and send it to the Counseling Unit’s e-mail.
To refer anyone, please find the Referred Form and send it to the Counseling Unit directly or via e-mail.

The Counseling and Psychological Services at the Brac University strictly protects the confidentiality of information shared during and after sessions. All personal details and the contentsof the counseling sessions are kept confidential. The counselors adhere to the British Association for Counseling and Psychotherapy (BACP) ethical framework which is available on the BACP website.
There are some exceptions of this general rules, where for the wellbeing of the client, sometimes it is very necessary to disclose few relevant information to the client’s responsible person. Counselors will only do this if client is in an agreement that it would be helpful and client has given written consent to the counselors.
Following are the exceptions, where with the consent of the client, counselor may disclose information:
1. In instances where there is imminent danger of serious harm to self or others.
2. In cases involving physical and/or sexual abuse.
