BRAC University concluded its three-day club fair on its Mohakhali campus in the capital on 9 October 2018, aiming to inform freshmen of the university’s student-based organisations they could join to cultivate leadership skills and teamwork.
Organised every semester by the OCA, this time in association with BRAC University Cultural Club, the fair’s theme this season was “Hymn of Fall”.
Twenty six student clubs took part in the fair which included drama, movie, dance and musical shows, performances by underground bands and a food festival.
Inaugurating the event, Registrar Lt Col Md Foyzul Islam (Retd) said club activities were a necessity for sound education and provided an opportunity to get involved in social activities.
Earlier he visited stalls erected by the clubs and interacted with their members to get to know about their activities and future plans. Dilara Afroz Khan, assistant professor of BRAC Business School and director of the Office of Co-curricular Activities (OCA), and other officials were present.
