Professor Balkrishna V. Doshi visits Department of Architecture

The world-renowned Indian architect and educator Professor Balkrishna V. Doshi visited the Architecture Department on June 5, 2002. He went around the Studio and saw the students' works. He talked to the students about their work and about architecture. Professor Doshi also wrote out a message with his sketches for the students on an 8 feet long board. He was accompanied by his colleague Architect Rajeev Kathpalia. In response to a request by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Doshi has kindly agreed to be an advisor to BU for the development of the curriculum in architecture and has assured collaboration with his organization the Vastu Shilpa Foundation based in Ahmedabad, India.
