Md. Ismile Hosain Saadi joined the Bangla Language and Literature Course in 2018. He had spent ten years as Senior Review Officer, of the News and Content Department at the daily Prothom Alo. He was also a part-time Lecturer at Southeast University in 2012. He has presented research papers at international and regional conferences and published in various research journals. He has also published two books on research and literary essays and co-edited three other books. He writes regularly in various journals and newspapers. His field of interest lies in, but not limited to, the poetry of Bangladesh, the History of Bangladesh, the Colonial History of Bengal, the History of the Liberation War of Bangladesh, etc. Recently, he edited a special issue of an international literary magazine, published simultaneously in Tripura and Kolkata. Dr. Saadi holds undergraduate and postgraduate degrees from Rajshahi University. He achieved MPhil from Dhaka University for his Dissertation, Poetry of Ahsan Habib: Artistic Thoughts and Artistry and PhD for his Dissertation, Poetry of Bangladesh (1947-1990): Life and Creative Features of Peasants and Workers.
