Dr. Dey completed his BSc and MS degree in Applied Statistics from University of Dhaka, and he received his doctoral degree in Statistics from the University of Texas at Dallas. Dr. Dey’s research focuses broadly on statistical methods for complex networks, topological and geometric data analysis, extreme value modeling, and their applications to power systems, critical infrastructures, blockchain data analytics, climatology, and finance. Dr. Dey is a member of the American Statistical Association, Institute of Mathematical Statistics, and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
