Masuba Aaron, a student of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at BRAC University, has recently achieved the title of “Ethics Champion” of IEEE Region 10 (Asia Pacific) scoring at least 70% in an IEEE Code of Ethics awareness assessment.
The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) describes itself as a non-profit of professionals working towards advancing technology while inspiring future generations through publications, conferences, technology standards, and professional and educational activities.
Organized by the IEEE R10 Ethics Awareness and Advancement Committee (EAAC), the assessment gives an opportunity to enhance understanding of ethical principles and promote ethical behavior within communities.
“Ethics Champion” symbolises your commitment to ethical practices and serves as a badge of honor for your accomplishment…(and will) inspire others to strive for excellence in ethical conduct,” said Dr Sudeendra Koushik, Chair of EAAC IEEE R10.
