JOURNAL ARTICLE PUBLISHED BY ENH FACULTY MEMBERS
Dr. Asifa Sultana, Assistant Professor, has published her research on 'Development of verb inflections among Bangla-speaking children with language disorder' in the International journal of language & communication disorders. Based on a cross-sectional study, the article presents morphosyntactic patterns of Bangla-speaking children with a range of linguistic and cognitive difficulties. In order to assess the level of development of the affected population (n= 9), language measures obtained through a set of structured and spontaneous tests were compared with the performance of a larger group of typically developing children (n= 70).
The study is co-authored by Prof. Stephanie Stokes, Prof. Thomas Klee and Prof. Paul Fletcher.
