On March 30th, 2024, the Law Alumni Association of BRAC University (LAABRACU) convened its Executive Committee Election for the 2024-2025 term recently. Spanning the entire day, the event underscored robust participation and solidarity among alumni.
Newly elected President Advocate Shahreen Tilottoma and General Secretary Advocate Tafsir Ahamed Khan will lead the committee for the next two years, supported by a dedicated team including Vice President Yasir Md. Adnan, Assistant General Secretary Arman Khan Apan, Treasurer, Tahmid-Bin-Rahman, Supreme Court Secretary Fatema Khatun Shova, Judge Court Secretary Maruf Ul Abed, Organization Secretary, Rehbub Matin Efad, Communication Secretary, Nehal Ahmmed Siddiqui, Academic and Publication Secretary, Sadiul Islam Antor, Sports and Cultural Secretary, Erfan Bashir Parag, and Social Welfare Secretary, Ramisa Anjum Rusmi.
The committee also includes Executive Members Sheikh Rasiful Islam, Tanvir Ahmed, Zuhayer Anjum Prottoy, Nabila Benzir Porama, Ashraf Uddin Ahmed (Joy), Md Momshadul Islam Sadik, and Umme Salma Faria.
Around two hundred individuals took part in the election, which aligned with the association's Annual Iftar, fostering a feeling of unity and festivity amidst the sacred month of Ramadan. A collective of 165 votes were tallied during the election process. The newly elected committee's president and general secretary conveyed their unwavering commitment to fostering a robust and inclusive organization through diligent efforts.
