Liza Reshmin, Academic Coordinator and Senior Lecturer at BRAC Institute of Languages, BRAC University, teaches English Fundamentals and English Composition I. She also supervises course leaders in curriculum design and delivery. She has developed a section of a core course for upper-intermediate level learners, focusing on speaking and listening skills and incorporating critical thinking. - Active participation in Assessment and Evaluation team to oversee the design of all BIL assessment midterm and final question papers through educational testing principles and practices to ensure consistency within and between the modules
- Academic Coordinator: Being an Academic Coordinator I was responsible for maintaining email correspondence with office staff and faculty members regarding academic decisions, instructions and rules. My responsibilities were:
- Being present and over-seeing the reflection meetings of all modules/courses
- Keeping track of all modules/courses with all module leaders, making sure no major changes are brought to the lessons
- Set booklet deadlines and reminders
- Collection, recording and distribution of Final exam question paper and answer scripts- Mailing about final exam and question paper presentation to teachers, sort question paper according to room, and guidelines to teachers
- Randomly checking lesson plans, materials, quiz/midterm question papers of teachers, answer scripts of midterm and final.
- Check on the tutorials and tutorial reports from time to time
- University Admission test:
- getting both the admission dates (both written & viva);
- arrangement of script-giving and taking;
- rubric distribution and collection;
- Providing individual feedback/advice to teachers if and when necessary
- Making the BIL planner

- Arranging workshops for BIL faculty members and inviting external groups/experts and others to BIL for various purposes
