With 19+ years of corporate, research and academic experience in Singapore, Canada and Bangladesh, Dr. Muhommad Azizur Rahman joined BRAC Business School as an Associate Professor. He earned B.Sc. from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Master of Engineering from National University of Singapore (NUS), Master of Science from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Ph.D. from National University of Singapore (NUS) and Post-doctorate from McMaster University, Canada.
Dr. Azizur served various leadership and managerial role such as Program coordinator of Outcome-Based Education (OBE), Deputy Management Representative (DMR) of ISO Quality Management Committee, Assistant Leader of ERT (Emergency Response Team), and Assistant Secretary of Overseas Chapter of Institution of Engineer Bangladesh Singapore (OCIEBS).
Additionally, Dr. Azizur is actively involved with professional bodies and societies. He served in the Evaluation Team (ET) for the Board of Accreditation for Engineering and Technical Education (BAETE). He is a Life Fellow (IEB), Life Member (IEB), OCIEBS (Singapore) and IMechE (UK). Dr. Azizur is a registered Chartered Engineer (CEng) in the Engineering Council (UK). He is currently serving as the Chair of IMechE Bangladesh Panel.
Dr. Azizur has extensive working experience in various industries in Singapore. This has widened his expertise in advanced manufacturing, procurement, planning, supply chain, logistics and production management. Besides, his teaching and research experiences are blended with real-life problem solving, project management as well as business process enhancement.
