Dr. Sabrina Sharmin joined the School of Pharmacy at BRAC University as an Associate Professor in February 2021. She started her professional career as a Quality Control Officer at NOVO Pharmaceutical Ltd. Subsequently, she served as a Quality Control Executive at Sanofi Bangladesh Ltd. Later on, she joined Shizuoka University as a Postdoctoral researcher after completing her Ph.D. in Bioscience (Biophysics) from Shizuoka University, Japan under the scope of MEXT scholarship. Afterward, she joined as a Postdoctoral Associate in the Department of Pharmacology at the University of Minnesota, USA. She completed her B.Pharm (Hons.) and M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the University of Dhaka. She has a number of publications in national and international peer-reviewed journals in different research areas such as Phytochemistry, Biophysics, and Nano-technology.
