Samirah Tabassum is a Lecturer at the Department of English and Humanities at BRAC University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. With previous teaching experience at University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB), and International University of Business Agriculture and Technology (IUBAT), she has also served as the Program Manager for Dhaka Lit Fest. Her research interests encompass Cultural Studies, Migration Studies, Gender Studies, Disability Studies, and Posthumanism among many others. She holds degrees in English and Cultural Studies from Jahangirnagar University and has garnered extensive experience as a freelance consultant and project facilitator, collaborating with UN agencies and esteemed national and international organizations. Passionate about travel and fieldwork, Samirah's adventurous spirit enhances her academic pursuits.
