With a PhD in Finance from The Australian National University (Australia’s number 1 university), Sayla is highly motivated to contribute to the economic research and academia in Bangladesh as well as abroad. Sayla worked as an Economist for the Australian Government for the year 2022. Sayla is a highly passionate public speaker. While pursuing PhD at the Australian National University, Sayla won the Three Minutes Thesis Presentation award (ANU) and the International Speech Competition of Canberra City Toastmasters Club. She received the highly prestigious Endeavour Postgraduate Award’2012 by the Australian Government to pursue her Master of Business Research(Finance) at the Queensland University of Technology.
Sayla is passionate in complex data analysis and research publications. She has demonstrated ability to teach and assess advanced finance courses and possesses valuable corporate industry experience in financial planning and forecasting.
