Moot Court competitions are an excellent tool with which law students hone their courtroom and legal argument skills. The School of Law has carved a name for itself at the national competition level and mooting has become another item to teach for several of our faculty. Mooting is a continuous process and in order to train new mooters, the Law School organizes intra moot competitions to identify potential candidates. One such Intra Moot Court Competition was organized with the help of the BU Law Society on 25-28 August 2021. Seventeen teams registered for the competition and chose senior students and our former mooters as their coaches. Judges for the competition comprised of School of Law alumni, faculty and lawyers of the High Court. The judges of the final round were Mr. Justice Mamnoon Rahman, High Court Division, Supreme Court of Bangladesh, Mr. AM Amin Uddin, the Attorney General of Bangladesh and K Shamsuddin Mahmood, Professor and Dean of the School of Law, Brac University. Kaoshik Dey Badhan and Farhana Haque Flora became the Champions while Tasnia Manzoor and Lamia Dilshad Waziha were the Runners-up.
