A workshop on "Moot Court and its Fundamentals" was organized by the BRAC University Law Society (BULS) recently at BRAC University. The core purpose behind organizing this workshop was to introduce our law students with the platform of mooting and instilling a sheer interest in them to participate in the Moot Court Competitions which certainly assists law students to enhance their skill of advocacy.
An esteemed panel of speakers marked their contribution to make the event insightful and engaging. The formal potential mooters Md. Mosabbir Hossain, Sanjida Haider Suha, Zeba Farah Haque and Mohammad Abdul Mahir joined as speakers, in person and online, to made a considerable difference to the success of the event through their interactive demonstration in different sessions.
Honorable Dean of School of Law, Professor K. Shamsuddin Mahmood’s personal presence and involvement during the whole session was really encouraging, which made the event look more organized and wonderful. The respected faculty members from School of Law, Md. Mostafa Hosain and Md. Saimum Reza Talukder shared their valuable advices with the students on being a potential mooter and how it may benefit them in their legal career. Other faculty members also joined to inspire our students. The abled members of BULS and their active support made the event a success.
The workshop was concluded by offering a vote of thanks by Ms. Sazeeda Johora Thakur, Senior Lecturer and BULS Advisor for and on behalf of Law Society and School of Law.
