Sharmin Nahar Nipa, Lecturer, and Khandaker Jafor Ahmed, Research Associate, C3ER, BRAC University participated in the seminar on “An Assessment of Flash Flood’17 Impact in Haor areas of Bangladesh” on 24 August, 2017 at the BRAC Centre Inn. The seminar was chaired by Professor Abdul Bayes, Director, RED, BRAC and he welcomed the participants from different institutions and organizations. Dr. Nepal C Dey, Research Fellow of RED presented the objectives, research methods and findings of the research.
A workshop on Sub-Regional Workshop on Urban Water and Sanitation Services in South and South-West Asia was held on 9-10 August, 2017 in Kathmandu, Nepal.
In the backdrop of various efforts in the past to address the critical concerns of governance of the transboundary Ganges sub-basin, the Ganga-Padma Devising Seminar was organized by Tufts’ University Water Diplomacy Programme, Observer Research Foundation, South Asia Institute of Harvard University and MIT Science Impact Collaborative Program on 10 and 11 August, 2017 in Kolkata.
